For this new year

For this new year 2006, I have decided to start this journal (blog) to be able to share with you my painting styles with both traditional media as well as with digital media tools.

Probably, the majority of my posts will be related to digital painting but from time to time I will also post work in progress or finished paintings and/or drawings created with traditional media.

I am working in developing several Work in Progress and tutorial videos about using digital tools to create beautiful works of art.

hi janet, this is a fine work that uve shared. first of all, a very smartly chosen image to work on, i like how the light plays in there and then the way u approached the whole thing is wonderful, i really like the in between phases as well.

sure a very nicely handled painting with lovely palette. always enjoy your work janet. thanks for sharing.

and lastly, i liked those small emoticons (that appear at the end of your posts, defining your current mood at that time), they are so cute. esp. the creative one.

Hi Janet, I just visited your blog here and I am very excited about this. To look over your shoulder is great. although I am no digital painter, I love your work. I will take you to my favorites and visit you and maybe with luck I will see a WIP in oil?????? Have a great weekend.
