A Brush with Darkness - Book

I would like to share with you an excellent book I read title:

A Brush with Darkness, Learning to Paint After Losing My Sight by Lisa Fittipaldi.

This book is worth the reading. In it, the author narrates her story about what she went through when she was turning blind due to vasculitis and how painting opened new horizons to her. She explains that painting for her is her sight now and she paints the images she composes on her mind.

It is a great story that really makes you appreciate more your gifts.

The human animal is so spectacular! The fact that a blind woman can create such beautiful artwork is such a testament to the human spirit.
